With New Zealand now in Level 2, many parents are returning to employment in their normal place of work. After many weeks of sharing the kitchen table with the children in their house, NSPR took this unique opportunity to see what their children think they do all day.

NSPR approached some of their clients, and a handful of people working in media, with the option of either submitting written answers or videoing the answers to set questions.

And the results? Read below and watch the video at the end!

Nick, 26

What do I do for a job?
Unsure of the title as the media seem to like to rebrand you to everything from CEO to Director but it appears you partake in anything that requires an opinion.

Having seen me work from home this past month, what do you think I mostly do all day?
Talk on the phone all day and replying to emails all night.

What do you think I am good at when it comes to my job?
Talking on the phone and reading lease agreements to the most minute detail. Probably the only person outside of in-house legal counsel who gets excited about a lease clause.

Any advice on what I could do better?
Chill out on the keyboard. I am unsure what vendetta you have against your keyboard but please know that keyboard is well and truly dead by now.

What do you think is the best thing about my job?
I think you get Sunday between 1am and 4am off…

Would you like to do what I do when you grow up/when you are older?
Maybe not, I think I would rather take holidays than organise them.
